Re: For Sale -

First up is a Huntington sack suit in charcoal mid-weight wool.  3 roll 2, center vent, 3 buttons on the cuff.  Union made in the USA.
Size about 38-39R
Measurements: 42 Chest, 17.75 Shoulder, 32 length including collar, 24 shoulder seam to sleeve end.  Waist 33, inseam unhemmed.
Suit is in like new, unworn condition, trousers have not been hemmed.  The store tag has been partially removed but is still partially attached to the sleeve.

http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/5251/019lhc.jpg
http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/1622/011ofc.jpg
Asking 85 USD shipped.  PM with interest

Next is a vintage tan gabardine sack suit, tailored by Majer for Barneys New York. Lapped seams, even on the shoulders and outside trouser seam, hooked vent.  Early 70s suit with 1960s styling.  Union made in the USA.  Size 38-39L.
Measurements: 42.5 chest, 17.5 shoulder, 33 length including collar, 26.25 shoulder seam to cuff, 34 waist, 31 inseam (with cuffs), 13.5 rise.
Condition is good for an old suit.  The suit has been in storage so might need a cleaning.  No holes or stains, lining is in excellent condition.  One issue is a small amount of fraying on the inside of the back of the trouser cuffs, could be easily remedied with hemming.

http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/4623/025zof.jpg
http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/8365/028ahy.jpg
Color is more golden than appears in some photos.  The lighting in the close up of the lapel makes it appear an olive but it is actually a golden tan.
Asking 65 shipped.  PM with interest.

Re: For Sale -

Fellas, a pair of Brooks Brothers plain toe bluchers, in black, size 10.5D US. Used, in very nice shape. Too big for me. Two small cuts, one on the left, toe area of the left shoe, one more towards the right of the right shoe toe. I'm not equipped to capture them with a camera. Near new heels, very thick original soles in nice shape. Offered at $60 US (including shipping to US). Int'l shipping is more, naturally. I'm out of boxes, so I'll have to purchase an appropriate box for them, thus the price. No trees included.

Might also consider a swap . Wayfarers or Clubmasters, maybe. Otherwise, I wear a 10D shoe in AE, 15.5/34 shirt (slim), 40R in Brooks, 34 waist/31 inseam.

If you'd like to check up on me, I'm devin here, devin on SF, bigdev on Ebay.

Gentlemen,
A couple of vintage-ish Brooks offerings, a workhorse blue oxford tagged Brooksgate, marked 16-35 but measuring closer to a 15 1/2 -34, it seems to be quite a slim cut.
http://i30.tinypic.com/2j4vvys.jpg
http://i32.tinypic.com/k6b2o.jpg.
and a brick and white colored Brooks Makers large gingham, tagged a 16 1/2-34 and measuring correctly,

cheers.

Hello gentlemen. An American made 60's raglan sleeved collegiate windcheater manfactured by 'Sears Sportswear'. Tagged as a 44 Regular. Jacket is in great quality brown cotton gab with a gold nylon lining. Nice stitched detailing and throat-latch collar. Button adjusters at waist. Heavyweight "Ideal" zipper.Condition is near mint. It was brought back from New York for me a while back but the truth is its just a little too big for me so languishes in my wardrobe. Please PM me if you're interested or have any questions. Thanks!

Re: For Sale -

This suit is up for sale.  It is too small for me and was mis-measured by the ebay seller.  Definitely a slim fitting 38R but could also work for a short.

http://i.ebayimg.com/17/!B,Q7pIQ!mk~$(KGrHgoOKiIEjlLm(KVwBKqs4uTQoQ~~_3.JPG

Measurements are 20.5 inch chest, 17.25 inch shoulders, 31 inch waist (3 inches to let out) slim fit tapered trousers, 29 inseam, 24 sleeve, 30.5 length including collar.  This suit is true 1960s vintage and in truly wonderful condition.  Year round wool fabric in a golden tan that is less coppertone than it appears in the photo.

Re: For Sale -

I bought this from Long_Playing, and it's really a lovely jacket, but it's a little bit too small for me... Have to sell it again, and I consider eBay, tomorrow...

Measurements, according to Long_Playing were:

shoulders: 18"

chest: 21"

sleeves: 24"

bottom of collar to hem down back: 30"

However, it might be a little smaller at the chest... I will try and measure it again... The chest measurements are always the hardest to take...

Re: For Sale -

One for the wee guys - due to another tweed jacket on the way, this one has to go:

Brooks Boys Dept. size 19 two button sack jacket in a heathery stone colourway. Can be seen on today's ILSFT pic and on older full-length pic below. It's a shade too small for me if I'm honest, measures approx. C36, sleeve 22.5", shoulders are unpadded and come in about 16.5", back length 28" plus collar.
Nice high armholes and slim sleeves. It's a rough, Harris-style tweed, fully lined.
I would say if you're 5'4" to 5'5", 34-36 chest and maybe 120 lbs (I'm 130, 5'5", 36 in. chest) this would be a good fit on you.

If interested drop me a PM and we'll work something out.
