Now

Some stuff I like...

That, give or take a few details, is what i want to look like. It's great - just great!

That is also great. Again, a few details could be changed (the jacket cut isn't quite perfect but it's a great cloth. The grey shirt is also a no) but the overall idea is something i would be happy to wear.

Now you go - the closer to now the better!

So i went to the bottom draw of my wardrobe, grabbed my navy Peter Storm Kag-In-a-Bag (which is a little more fitted now than it was when i was 14...), wore a white BD, navy merino crew neck, chinos, no socks and white Keds.

Re: Now

yeah, i've been checking local gant store out on a regular basis despite the fact that i somewhat despise all that lifestyle crap these brands (and one brand retallers) are trying to sell. haven't bought much though as my finances are shit at the moment.

tomorrow, should the weather stay chilly it's tweed time for me.

Re: Now

I'm always surprised by the amount of knitwear which proliferates in the 'what are you wearing' thread during the summer. It's at least 30º in the shade in London today and I suspect it's swelteringly warm across much of continental Europe and the US. You are brave men to attempt to sport woolens in such weather.

Someone even claimed to be wearing a raincoat over a sweater, shirt and tee the other day!

I suspect the reality is sodden singlets in the 'Global Hypercolor' fabric all round.

Re: Now

if it was 30° i wouldn't touch knitwear, the sweating pig i am! when it was warm over here (finland) my daily gear was a ss bd; madras, seersucker or gingham, always untucked, chinos & weejuns or shorts + weejuns or even sandals on very warm days.

now its 10° so tweed time.
