Yes. Always liked a bit of pink.
Think I’ve always had at least one or two button downs and polos on the go.
Resting them at the moment, as pink seems to be an ‘in’ colour for the male populace round here (mainly sweatshirts). But I’m sure that will pass and I will get them out again.

I ordered a pink Makers from EBay, years ago, and never wore it. It was stiff and felt like the previous owner had washed it in a combo of starch and Bullseye Shellac. Just the other day, with nothing clean to wear, I put it on. I was wrong. It was simply an unworn old Makers and it softened over the course of one day. Now Hollywood is going to be beating a path to my door hoping to purchase the rights to that little story, I’m sure.

I’m also a lover of pink shirts especially in Oxford like Senor, I currently have a sero I bought as nos from O’Connells 10 or so years ago, it’s identical to one I bought from IS Richmond around ‘85, I think I’ll go for a Jakes if he makes more in pink oxford,

Many years ago i bought a pink sero NOS from O´Connells too. Think it was a 15 or 15,5.
What a happy man i was! But then the Al Bundy in me got told that they couldn´t find the shirt in the shop ...

And so true, the ladies like it a lot.

(I might be mistaken, but I think our Gibson might favour pink from time to time, perhaps with a knitted tie).

There was a time when the pink (Lacoste) polo also meant "Casual". At least lots of them were spotted at a certain SE London football ground with three letters.
Which didn´t stop me from wearing them in summer.
Again, a rivierian tan helps.

I still don't think pink works well as a polo shirt and I think it's a dreadful idea for a sweatshirt.
I do, however, favour beige over navy for a sweatshirt, so that probably marks me out as a tad eccentric.  I seem to recall Jeff Garet wearing one on a humid day at Russell Street.  But Jeff looked good in anything: effortless.
The Mark Timlin story still makes me smile.
I now have three pink shirts: two Brooks and a Duck Head.

But one must concur.

Several pink shirts owned here. My claim to fame when I was doing the mod thing in London in the mid 2000's was a pink mackintosh, worn over suits and ties, heads used to swivel with that one.
Pink socks too exist within my repertoire, although I never quite got as far as the pink trouser & Smedley combo worn by a friend of mine on a couple of occasions. It's a colour tat suits me, I like it, so why not? The only risk here in Ireland is people thinking you have notions and most of the local population have long since drawn the conclusion that I do.

My first ever Brooks Bros. purchase was a pink button-down, in about 1982, shortly after my fist trip to NYC. International mail order was not something BB undertook back in those times, so I got my friend who lives in the US to buy it for me and post it on, along with some Big Red chewing gum, which you couldn't get in the UK. In the accompanying letter he said something along the lines of "anytime you want something, let me know". I think after several hundred trips to his local post office later, he may have come to regret that offer!
As I love pink anyway I still dig it out now and then... and did you know that until Edwardian times pink was for boys, and blue for girls? Why and when it got reversed I'm sure someone can find out.
