Hey, what about the Cutter and Tailor Forum, guys?

The origin was a subforum called the Atelier at the London Lounge. It was created on my suggestion. You could only see the forum if you were logged in, so many of you may never have known it was there. The trouble was that I and a growing number of knowledgeable posters were staunch traditionalists favouring clean fit and structure - and hence anti-drape/soft tailoring. Not surprisingly Alden shut the forum down deleting a number of very painstakingly written technical threads on collar cutting, canvas cutting, sleeve drafting etc. So we all moved lock, stock and barrel to a new forum - the Cutter and Tailor.

^ That really sounds like the evolution of the forums: Good posters getting squeezed out of bad forums and so they go off and do their own thing.

Sator: i've had a quick look at your site. l probably wouldn't join, but you might as well post a link to it here, wouldn't mind checking it out again.

l'm truely stunned Sator by the recent happenings with that man.

... Some people want to be given rules & to join in with them.

They need to adopt definitions of themselves outside of themselves because they don't value themselves in their own right.

They need to find a way to feel 'acceptable'.

And then there are those who seek to impose all those online 'rules' -

Nobodies who seks to dominate a subject online to equally give themselves some kind of definition.

'Ask Andy'? Look at him - Why would you ask him? I'm sure he's a swell guy, but only somebody really low down in the trough would desire to emulate old Ringy. Surely?

What you might choose to call 'Trad', if you wish, is my subject... And all I've said above is more than clearly demonstrated when it comes to 'Trad'. A ready made online rule book for anybody who didn't know what was what.

Why?

So a little freak online (Harris) could feel good about himself by dominating a ship of fools?
