Re: Naples' Finest Tailor?

All excellent points, and no doubt that A&S has many loyal customers, attracted by the idiosyncrasies and sweater-like comfort.

In my mind however, making a distinction between a bespoke coat with shoulders that don't act as a secure fulcrum from which to drape the garment, purposedly, and a softly constructed RTW garment that is one size too large in the shoulder area, by accident,  isn't that easy.

Re: Naples' Finest Tailor?

Very true.

Infact, I don't even have to go up one size in RTW....  a size 50 in some of the Armani coats fit me just fine and fit me similarly to the AS in chest/shoulder.     And with equal comfort and movement as well !

Re: Naples' Finest Tailor?

The jetted pockets on the coat in question were made in the distinctive A&S way - vertical matching stripes, and it's worn by an A&S staff in the A&S premises. I just don't know why the poster was so adamant it's not an A&S.
