The Dandies Who Aren't.

By which I mean that their Dandyism is presented in an Anti-Dandy style.

Artists Gilbert & George.

George VI suits and haircuts. Perfect manners. In control of every aspect of their image. Their work plays with everything, especially the idea of images and icons. They look completely sober but all the time they are completely wild.

Gilbert and George conclude with a smile: "Our whole lives must be about creating an impact and making our mark. Otherwise there would be no point."
