Tapered trousers, narrow lapels, flood length inseams.

I particularly like the gent wearing the high top tennis shoes and chinos. This look is still a classic today.

Is that guy in the dark suit wearing a Thom Browne suit from 2004?  No, it's an ivy suit.  On a Japanese guy.  In 1964.

I have a thrifted vintage Brooks olive poplin suit which is perfect in every respect save for trouser length. I've never worn it outside because the pants are about that length on me. Should I be brave next summer and give it an airing? In some respects it is the 'classic' length if such a thing exists, but would wearing it be making too much (in italics) of a statement: something I'm normally loath to do.
