I had a couple of pairs of their shoes once. They made the bottoms of my feet sore.

They have a very nice catalogue, which I keep at hand to flip through. And they apparently make those wonderful, magical, cordo-licous tasseled loafers for Ralph Lauren, which I cannot afford and probably wouldn't fit me, but I find knowing others are out there wearing them and enjoying them is calming.

Shoes, more than any other article of clothing, can cause physical discomfort, to whatever degree, even pain, so purchasing C&J shoes, or any other brand of shoes for that matter, without first trying them on has its inherent risks.  In my case, their shoes fit me across-the-board---lucky me  I think for the money, you can't go wrong with C&J in terms of quality, value, and designs.  I believe C&J makes certain read-made shoes for George Cleverley, at least their monks, several pairs of which I own.  I was especially impressed with their customer service involvig my last order, in which they took care of embedding steel toe plates in the shoes, which was executed quite expertly.
