Clock page two.
We live in interesting times.
Word is the Guv. on the case. As ever.
If this is not a bad joke, I will drink a toast to John Simons and his team tonight!
No joke - I was just talking to Ian Strachan.
And talking of Ian, he's our other Phoenix From The Flames. After a very rough time since Christmas he's as sharp as ever, joking and talking away about the Algonquin, John, John Gall, The Ivy Shop, John Lally, Mike Dove, The Squire Shop, Stan Getz, et al.
He's still on the mend & his energy is a little low so I didn't keep him on the phone for too long, but he sends his best to the forum and his thanks for all the good wishes.
Of our crowd, John Gall, 'Hill Rise' and 'Richmond Hill' meant a lot to him in passing on their best wishes. If anybody else who knew / knows Ian would like to send on their regards I'll do it.
He remembers everyone. No real names will be on the forum, real names will just be for Ian.
Best,
jim

Should annoy those who don't like football.
^ ....why would anyone get annoyed at 22 mindless morons kicking a bag of wind around a field?
Can't abide that Skinner and Baddie. Particularly Baddie, an absolute self assured half wit twat.
A nice chat with Mr. John Gall the other day who informed that things are indeed in place and the fine tuning is just being finished off for John Simons' new venture (already). More as I'm allowed to share it, but, with John S. coming back strong & John G.'s new book on The Ivy Look on the way, things are looking very good for us all this year.
KTF.
Russ.
