If you want to give the bully a TKO, you really need to post the message.

Yeas we need to see that message!
It's not like you are going back there. lol
BTW, welcome.
Welcome. The iGents that run Ask Cruiser and Shit Forum are scared of being exposed as ignorant or, in the case of certain "artisans", peddlars of poor and/or over-priced merchandise. They resort to banning their critics and smear us Buff Bastards as unsocial morons. Watch out for Mafoolfan - he is Mini-Manton, funded by Daddy's money, who can dish out criticism but cannot take it.
A fellow Bristolian! Welcome!
Jim
An addendum to my earier post, from Mafoolfan's blog - http://tweedinthecity.wordpress.com/2010/01/21/old-world-gabardine/
"Michael Anton, author of The Suit, and who I’m convinced possesses a perfect mental catalogue of every current English cloth book out there".
QED!
Mis-matched shirt plackets could cause the poor bastard to hurl himself off a rooftop.
Hopefully, his jacket collar will remain smartly adhered to his neck and sufficient shirt cuff will be on display while he does so.

As a Brit I am fascinated by the amount of press that Mr Anton gets. He seems to have written a book, but so what? From what I have seen he is someone who picks decent cloth but whose tailor hasn't yet assisted him with what suits him. As they say at Passover, 'ma nishtana haleila ha zeh?' (loosely: why is this one any different from all the others?).
He goes after people who contradict him quite aggressively which deters the saner elements from contradicting him - I have seen some hilarious ranting PMs from him to people. The AAAC moderator/Malinda account embedded sender information that is usually hidden so it was quite easy to work out which moderator sent the email using the Malinda account. There were cases where he appeared to be arguing with someone in the forum and telling them not to argue as Malinda.
On style I am not sure what is wrong. He seems to have picked a style that does him absolutely no favours, or it may be jumping between tailors without ever working through the issues in the pattern (although in fairness at least one tailor fired him). The style he has chosen emphasises his sloping shoulder, narrow chest, and broad hips which is not a desirable look. To my mind he would be better served by a far more structured style which would disguise these defects. However you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink so he will continue to waste his money.
My feeling is that he believes there is a formula for dressing well and one day he will discover it but the truth is that dressing well is far more about context and emotion.
