Thanks for the tip Moose.
Am still waiting for my Sanders boots to arrive from Pointer. Ordered them 16 days ago, still not arrived. Pointer sell Sanders products but were blissfully unaware that Sanders (who ship them direct to pointer customers) were on their 2 week easter break. The guy from Pointer told me a number of times they'd be arriving 'within 48 hours or sooner'. Waited in at home and nothing arrived. When I asked for a tracking number Pointer said they'd forgotten to tell me that Sanders were on an Easter break.
Classic British service still prevelant in the digital age.

The casual shoe page is still lacks images, although it looks as though you may be able to order some items from it.
Well spotted Chris. I've been checking back but can see that they've updated some of it now. Fred told me yesterday there was a black leather playboy. I'm hoping (as Fred is) that they'll extend to brown leather and snuff suede for the boot. Right now they have the market cornered for all os us - rockabilly, Pokit /Oi Polloi types and old school hip hop fans - and of course FNBers!
Who are Pointer Weejun, wanted a pair of the Sanders from OiPolloi in Snuff, but they sold out of my size. They are gonna restock, but if elsewhere has them, I have itchy fingers! Thanks.
Weejun may know more, but as far as I can discern....

Looks like Pointers only stock black or brown.....
Snuff chukkas are listed on Sanders own website....no pics yet, so not sure if they are Hightops or another style.....

I think those are crepe rather than "playboy crepe" soles. The McNairy line has a crepe soled shoe/boot also - thick crepe but not playboy style.
^Is there any clue to the style in the Last No. 4831.....?

Actually I think the jubilation may be unwarranted...
The models called Bertie say "crepe sole" but the models called Hi-Top (same name Oi Polloi and Pointer use) states "playboy crepe sole", so looks like the other may be desert boots after all...
Maybe I'll just wait till Oi Polloi re-stock them in snuff...
EDIT - Now I think I'm just going mad - seems Oi Polloi didn't have the boots in snuff only the shoes (which is probably why I bought the shoes from them at the time).
Shame Sanders don't have a factory outlet...

Anyone know when the Sander site is gonna get images, that would clear this up much quicker.
I just want the Snuff low (shoe) but a boot would be sweet too. Like the dirty buck colour too.
We (my design studio) recently went after Trickers design account, said they were looking thinking of looking at agencies, went on for ages, eventually they said they were looking at digital, we never got anywhere, yet we gave a great outline of how we could move them forward, especially with Grenson, Loake etc all upping their on-line presence. Gutted as it was a brand I really wanted to work with, had lots of great ideas. Gutted.
No surprise there I'm afraid. As much as I love Trickers...
I was recently in the factory shop when one of the senior managers came in from the factory side and said he wanted to take a pair of his annual free 2 pair allowance. Fair enough, you work at Trickers you should get free or discounted product. But then he looked down at his current, totally mullered, pair of black oxfords and said "I only have one pair of shoes, I get one free pair a year and wear them into the ground."
This came after a conversation that covered the fact that it was only the Italians and Japanese that keep Trickers alive and that the sales in UK are almost negligible.
I tried, but I couldn't resist. As I left I said "And you guys wonder why the English shoe industry is in the terminal state it's in. If you, who supposedly understand the joy of good shoes, are proud of only having one pair of shoes then why the f*** do you expect ordinary British people to buy your shoes."
And that, my friends, is a story that I've heard all my life with these guys. Loake, Sargent, White & Co of Earls Barton (the old Playboy maker), (the old) John Spencer Tecnic, Grenson etc.
Rant over.
More knowledge and taste on display than I'm used to elsewhere online.
My thanks to all.
