This is to remind me for tomorrow when I'm drinking my breakfast to post some recs for Mr. Vaclav.
I have a small cellar with a few things in it...
Could some wise person advise on the best way to clean a hip flask?
Nothing worse than Calvados tainted by the previous occupier of one's flask...
Bump to remind me to go down into the cellar & make notes.
I'm just so busy you see...

Been up in the attic today. I'll try to hit the cellar tomorrow. Promise.
Canadian Lobster for lunch. Never tasted it before & not the best I've had. Just a so-so one or are they not generally regarded as being 'all that'?
Maine is still best in my book, then Boston.
Could just be that the long trip to my Giant vibrator spoiled it.
Any thoughts?
Rather than sink into showy-offy posting I'm going to rec this as good & afforable everyday Calvados:

Google Calvados & you'll get loads of others. The above is one for everyone. As with any drink you can spend as much or as little as you like & get better & worse drinks in the process.
It's not about price it's all about taste.
(Profound, eh?)
I think I've heard the name.
There's a British regiment called the Applejacks isn't there? And maybe a '60's pop group?
(If I really wanted to know I'd Google it I suppose...)
Oddly I don't like Cider or Scrumpy, only Calvados.
How interesting I am...
*ahem*
Good advice. All of it.
Where does the lobster in Boston come from? That's a really good point.
'Legal Seafood' was where I'd not very adventurously eat most.
It always made me wonder about Illegal Seafood... Some place down a dark alley with a renegade menu of the forbidden fruits of the sea...
(Dear me I am having fun today!)
