Don't know how much power he wields but his clothing will not, and should not, get anyone to notice him as it is as bland as missionary sex.

Also just noticed a bit of anal retention.  White Out, Glue stick, stapler, calculator, paper clips, two hole punch all neatly in front of him, probably in the exact order that he would need them for whatever it is that he does. And who keeps a box of Kleenex that prominent on the front of their desk? Does his job require him to regularly dole out bad news or deal with people in a bad situation (funeral director?). Oh, and the tie looks really, really inexpensive.

I'm struck by how matt he is... As though he is covered in a thin layer of dust...

His eyes are so sad & tired...
