resolution on my monitor is not great but if that is a mock turtleneck, I'd say this guy was hip about 25 years ago.

So many sad faces on the forum tonight...

I think he's trying to say... something.

He's not hip & I also think he might be much happier not trying to be whatever he's trying to be.

I'd like to see him kicking back. Goofing off. Happy.

Phone in sick, brother. Do it for me.

That does look like a mock turtleneck. Let me state unequivocally that I am against the killing of mock turtles to make them.

Re: Am I hip or Not-2?

While the guy does look pretty bland right now, I think the whole thing could be saved by doing at least two things. The first would be to make the coat with a higher gorge, which I think would make it look a little sharper and help to counteract the "droopy" look that the coat has in it's current state. Secondly, I personally think he needs a pocket square, the black mock-neck just kind of turns what is usually the most interesting area of an outfit into a gaping void, so a little something to liven up his chest area would do a lot, even if it is a plain white square.

But then again, it'd be pretty tough for anyone to look "hip" when he's surrounded by a roomful of outdated-looking computer equiptment, but uh, to each his own, I guess.
