Today the fair spring winds blow us some delicate petals of pure inanity:

iGents get snippy over whether you should tuck the bows into your shoes to prevent them from flopping around, distracting everyone from your 3" cuffs.

If you are worried about weather appropriateness, maybe you shouldn't be wearing seersucker. Classic tryhard iGent trying to punch above his weight by wearing costumey clothes to social events.

Harvard, harvard harvard harvard - harvard harvard, harvard harvard harvard? I can tell the OP this for certain - the families of graduating Ph.Ds will NOT be wearing delightful Old Boston ivywear, they will be wearing flip flops and talking through the ceremony. Also, OP, why would you ask the internet what to wear rather than, say, one of your wife's colleagues, or a commencement administrator?
^ Because the point of the post is to link himself to Harvard in the minds of his fellow forumites.
It's the old 'what shall I wear to an 'upscale' restaurant?' post given a twist. The point is to tell the world that you're going somewhere 'upscale'.
Even if you're not.

I was under the impression that most of the posters in the trad forum were Harvard graduates. Or at least ivy grads. Or at least serious academics teaching in Trad Studies Programs at lesser, though still important, universities. Or at least they were descended from someone who went to Harvard ("My war hero uncle, long deceased, and a graduate of Harvard..."). Or at least their wives got in (summer programs included).
I give this guy a pass, I think he's just bragging about the missus.
Like this guy:

Armigers again. I think we may know this poster under another name.

Come on, come on, give me the good guys on askandypandy; theloodloungers and stickitforum.
Moo often makes me laugh (like a father who laughs at his son's child like antics). Here is his recent outfit:

So aksandy and styleforeskin take most of the flak and theludonloungers take less. Interesting. Moo and Mantonvani are the overall Big Losers then. Moo a straight winner by six lengths.
