While DB is not at the top of my dance card, at the same time I find it rather onerous that the message board (AAAC) that became DB's 24/7 Internet residence, and which, in essence, "created" DB the "Master Tailor," has now disavowed all past involvement with him, having meticulously cleansed itself of all of his articles, previously promoted all over the site, and, in effect, becoming de-Beamanized.  And, it's the height of hypocrisy for that message board, which cozied up to him over the course of several years because they were so desperate for content, to now gang up on him.

I don't understand why Manton is being demonized here. His posts are certainly more informative than most others. Manton had nothing to do with the banning of any of the members of this forum. If any member of any fora feels they've been ripped off, whether by an Ebay vendor or an off Savile Row tailor, they have the right to express it.
