I never thought Eva Mendes was very attractive but then, considering what a lot of girls at the gym look like, I suppose she wouldnt be a bad consolation prize.

Never liked Cage either. His best work was in "Valley Girl".

I can't bear to watch Nicholas Cage. He can't act and appears to be "intellectually challenged". He would have been my nomination for worst actor until I had the misfortune to watch Ben Stiller.

That original film was certainly fucked up (full frontal nudity of Keitel was one of those things no one should have to see). I don't mind Cage; I don't go out of my way to see his movies, but he's okay in my book. I'm truly surprised at the strength of the hostility he attracts.

Michael Caine was being interviewed on the filme version of Kipling's The Man Who Would Be King, the interviewer said it was a right stinker. Caine replied to him it was very successful as it paid for his mother's swimming pool.

You could be right Maxi, it could have been "The Swarm" or "Jaws II" or "III" which ever one he was in.  I thought "The Man Who Would Be King" was also pretty good, that kind of adventure Sunday afternoon or bank holiday fare that always delivers.
