Once again Marc Grayson displays his ignorance and his arrogant stupidity in not recognizing his ignorance.
Islam means submission to God. Therefore, for them, the first prophet was Adam and the last was Mohammed. It doesn’t matter whether or not we accept this. The important thing is to understand what they do believe and the reasons for doing so.
For Moslems, Mohammed’s mission was to correct the falsehoods that had been introduced by the followers of Judaism and Christianity. Given this, there is nothing contradictory in Moslem’s claiming that Adam, Noah, Abraham and Jesus were prophets of Islam although it does seem strange the first time non-Moslems meet this belief. One reason why non-Moslems find this idea difficult to comprehend is that they have made the error of labeling Moslems Mohammedans. This is an error that Marc Grayson has made several times in this thread.
But, as Captain Preppy has also pointed out, the Moslem belief that prophets prior to the last one were followers of is Islam is no different to similar claims made by certain Christians. For example Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that Adam, Noah, Abraham and Jesus were Witnesses and that that they are the rightful inheritors of this tradition.
