I saw a perforated pair I didn't like I like the lo-cut Brown, they come as a boot as well and from what I find that site is the only one with that model(shux!)

You're most welcome Jesmond - I'm only pleased they are still around and for sale. You can absolutely be assured that the quality of these shoes is second to none. Clarks quality cannot even begin to compare...
BTW, I just PMd Klook before reading your post saying I'd pair them with stone chinos for a George Adamson/Born Free look, so great minds think alike!
I feel a purchase coming on...
Strong work Klook. I'll have to frame that ad with the low top Playboys.
Had to jump in eventhough I'm on holiday at the hotel's computer with a freakin' French keyboard...
I used to have this pair of deadstock Desert Saddles dated 1955, here's a repost. These didn't fit so I sold them on Ebay - to someone in Japan.
Anyone else been to the shoe shop in Cheshire Street (off Brick Lane) recently?
Some treasures there.
Has anyone took the plunge with the Astorflex dessies yet?
Wassup brothers check these out these are the Danish joints I wish I had small feet; cgi.ebay.com/ORIGINAL-PLAYBOY-LO-SIDER-CHUKKA-SHOE-CREPE-SOLE-UK-8-5_W0QQitemZ130412049552QQcategoryZ63850QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m263QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DSIC%26its%3DI%252BC%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%252BDDSIC%26otn%3D20%26pmod%3D130408155426%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D7001642879009850202

Ah sucks! I walked past thismorning and they had one pair of black suedes left on show but they had three eyelets I think...
Phil (one of the sons) is nuts but brilliant all the same. He seemed to take a liking to me on Sunday after we spoke about mods and Steve Mcqueen...he also hit me with a sock...
Still, what a find! Hope they get more from Sanders...bucks and buck boots nomnom...
Weejun. If you want to sell the black leather Playboys. I would be very interested...
There's a stall in Walthamstow market that also sells Clarks dessies, GCs, Sanders etc. Worth a look if you're down that neck of the woods?
whats the best values in desert boots currently? from these here 24 pages i surmise that all clarks are now vietcong recycled tire crap, sanders are good but cost more than some cars, landsend/le canvas are cheap yet still overvalued crap, the ones in the back of scooter mags are chinese horror-show crap, and astor-flex are fantastic and a good value but to get them you have to speak fluently in some obscure lombard dialect directly to the mustachioed, gepetto-hatted gentlemen who make them, most likely on a shortwave radio. i noticed that j crews are italian made-anyone know anything of the quality of those? personally id like to go as cheap as possible for what are essentially gym shoes, without that "hand finished by imprisoned chinese nuns" look seems so popular in footwear today.
Roamers are slightly better than they used to be.
what are roamers? where are they obtained?
are all clarks vietnam produced now? i get that impression. they sseem to be owned by the same people who own bostonian, or at least they have distro rights in the US. that brand, while never exactly superlative, looks pretty cheesy now too.
