My Dear Chaps--Distressed over shirtings and lack of information from the sales staff at various on-line emporia. To wit: The fine Chinese cotton shirtings offered by JAB--100? 120? Is there no way one can find out? Paul Frederick of Savile Row offers a fine Chinese cotton shirting of 100 but I'm only familiar with their 80's. How much thicker are the 100's than the 80's? I'm guessing 20. Can I get these at a better price? What if they don't fit? Can I wear them and return them? Any coupons? Thanks awfully, good sirs.

This thread is very funny rather inane - http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=190761. Note that the OP fails to comment after his question has been answered by a resourceful commenter.
Dumb question, but the replies are even worse, all from morons on the first page. Pity l didn't have the power to ban all that garbage over there, l wouldn't spare any of those guys on the first page, i'd throw them all out!

Not worth any more than the chewey on your boot.
Scott big notes himself with his usual snobbery. He always likes to remind people of how big time he is, he does that alot.

What he says is mainly true. The SA attitude will be better when serving high rollers over the masses...problem is that it's not always easy to tell the big boys from the pretenders on initial meeting.
