I like them. They're like a boot version of the Weston "Chasse" shoes. Certainly not a dress boot of course.

l look down on chukka boots too, l put them in the bottom pile, boring and only just wearable. l always have to force myself to wear them, and only in foul weather.
l used to love the chukka, but now i've discovered much more interesting shoos to tickle my everyday fancy.
