I have climbed the mountain...

Greetings from Shoot-Up Hill.

Bit of a pre-party lull here...

Here's my plan: Vintage Motown first for fun, then vintage Trojan for a little bump & grind, then some mad stuff for when people are 'uninhibited' (Brother Ray doing 'I don't need no doctor', etc.), winding up with stuff like Ruby & The Romantics doing 'I cry Alone' for those drunken people who like crying before they try to have it off.
Not that I'm playing any records.

I've already been asked who's bitch I am tonight. Odd.

I only intend dancing with lesbians. Can't get into trouble that way.
White T. OLD Pink OCBD, Bills M2s, sockless in beaten up brown boats.
After yesterday I only have 3/4" of hair & my breath already smells of Calvados.
Can't go wrong.

What sort of parties are you going to/giving?

'Bout an hour & a half to go now... Happy Christmas!

Re: I have climbed the mountain...

Of all the many styles of conversation Party conversation is wonderfully unique. I have been informed that I spent quite a while last night talking to a girl who wanted to know why being amoral was sometimes considered kinda cool in certain contexts but that being asexual never was.

No idea what conclusion we reached, if any.

Just thought I'd share.

Do you get out to parties much, 'Teacher'?
Maybe when you've marked all the homework?
I bet you often have a right old laugh in the staff room!
Good for you.

Hello Terry,

this season is good, for going to company parties not your own.

Soon i'll snack on mini quichie, and drink some wine from a box.

Maybe Teacher can sip on applejack.

Teacher has much to teach.
I want to draw him out of his staff room to join us in brotherhood and comity.
Join me, all, in raising an Applejack to our new friend.
An Educator.

'Wiser than Solomon' was a big hit last night. Somebody Sterling?

Can't be an English teacher. He said my stuff was well worded.
I think he teaches woodwork.
Nothing wrong with that.
St. Joseph did the same.

Re: I have climbed the mountain...

Tonight I dine with a Parson.
Hip flask or not?
It could be a long wait between drinks.

Of the many faux pas that have littered my life a favourite of mine was when I launched into a long discussion on the quality of communion wine with a clerical fella (The Catholics have the best, you know)...
I still maintain that if my blood was being celebrated I should like it to be done with a little more style.

The day may come when I'm burned at the stake...
Never mind, eh?

Edit: And this morning I feel as though I've been poisioned.

It occurs to me that so many people around me were well dressed growing up, and  i wonder if they ever put any thought into it? I dont think theye ver did except for like impulse purchaes. Maybe someone's wife was in Brooks and picked up that holiday cummerbund.
