Hey shooey, i never knew McCloud's existed, i had a look at their website after you mentioned them, they seem to have some good stuff, not horificaly priced too. and they make their own in their factory, wonder if its possible to get them to make a shoe of my last. I assume their gemmed or blake right?

A factory visit sounds fantastic, and your right, gemming isnt that bad, much better than most of the shoes in melbounre, and it can be easily repaired if it does fail. Blake/Rapid are also good constructions. The trick is to have many many pairs of shoes so as not to wear out the soles, let them rest ect. i can live with having many pairs of shoes

Bad news just tried them on and for only the second time ever the heel depth is not enough to compensate for my orthotic. Looks like they will have to be sold. Bummer - the length and width was okay.
Can we get back to the topic guys, l don't want this thread to stray too far from the original topic.
