Very bold choices, Formby! Duchamp's ties are superbly made but too psychedelic for my conservative taste. I have always wondered how women react to Duchamp. My gay friends (I am straight) love the brand.

A "Quoyle" sweater in grey.
I got mine in North Rustico, PEI, but you can get yours here: http://www.qheonline.com/clothes/mens/wd_001.htm
Bought a Triumph Bonneville T100.
Much more civilized than my other motorcycles, which is good and bad.
A navy cable knit, shawl collar cardigan.
Comfy.
A pair of snuff coloured Sanders Playboys from Oi Polloi, which I've ordered and should be winging there way to me right at this very moment.
That should be/needs to be my last clothing related purchase for this year, with the possible exception of an Andersons Everest sweater closer to Winter.
Come on, Mick, it's still only August!
...and here they are, talk of the devil.
Very pleased I am too.
Semi-bespoke trousers, 1 in blue Italian cotton and 1 in plain "Silver" H&S 340g / 12oz "Cape Horn Classic" worsted - with 1% cashmere, clearly just for marketing purposes but a nice cloth all the same. Both will go with several odd jackets.

Well, the clothing budget for the year was already gone (and some!) but I really blew it away today with a bespoke "country" jacket in Glenhunt 17-18oz tweed. 3B SB with flapped patch pockets (no bellows), gauntlet cuff with 2 buttons and to the rear a centre inverted pleat, half Norfolk Belt and twin vents.
Inside an extra warm red lining picking out part of the over check in the treed, the usual breast pockets plus phone and poachers pockets (the later I just learned called a Hare pocket in the trade). Might be able to use some one-off antler horn buttons otherwise they will probably be Buffalo horn. 1st fitting at the end of the month and hope to have it by the end of October if, as is likely because it's based on my shooting jacket, no changes are required after the 2nd fitting.
A Steinbock of Austria loden vest in olive. Very rustic thing with bulky horn buttons. Don't think I can wear it under a sportcoat -- more of a weekend thing.
Another Sunspel.
And the aforementioned peacoat.
And a blue and cream striped Ralph Lauren shirt from Oi Polloi (which mercifully doesn't have the polo player motif).
And a brown cord jacket from Chris H (thanks again).
(I'm hoping that writing this stuff down will force me to address my gluttonous ways).
