Shopping bags for men

When did it become acceptable for men to walk around carrying shopping bags?

I am thinking of pushing the envelope. Gentlemen, pray tell what do you think of this practical item?

I am sure all our overseas readers will be envious of this classic British icon. A design classic, like Barbour.

Here in Paris, they're widely used at street markets.  I wish I had one, our market is a good km away, and each time I go shopping on Saturday morning I get over enthusiastic with meat, fruits, and veggies.  Then I need to carry it all home.

I use Waitrose plastic bags and get the taxi home.

Contrary to lies of FNB and Woofboxer, I (and most of the other "Buff Bastards") have been banned from posting on this forum. There are only a few posters left so don't waste your time on here. This forum is dead and nobody cares.

Russell Street decants all his grocery purchases into heavy, brown paper bags with no handles, which he always brings with him when he shops.

He says it looks more American. John Simons told him.
