I'll be interested to see how this works out.

Interesting. He'll be eaten alive by domestic costs.
Abboud supplied the clothes for Bill "The Factor" O'Reilly at one point. O'Reilly never looked so good. Natty pinstripes, crisp white shirts, a proper gorge, ties with interesting patterns paired with just the right pocket squares. Now he's wearing some other brand and he looks as bland as the rest of his TV colleagues.
His autobiography is worth a skim. Some good anecdotes.
Purchase? Are you sure? Just curious. I imaged it was one of those free clothes in exchange for publicity arrangements so popular among TV types who really don't value clothes for their own sake but merely as a kind of professional necessity. O'Reilly, I've noticed, has had at least three wardrobe suppliers in the last year or two.
Abboud's clothing always seemed too earth toned like a 1940ies version of a German designer who's name escapes me at the moment.
I thought he sold his label to someone else?
The fact that he is a frequent guest on Don Imus' show also makes him vaguely suspect.
I'm with you, mate. Should be interesting to see what happens. And let's wish him well....
