That, of course, would be Nicholas Foulkes.
Note how he wears the loafers with suits and does not appear unappealing.

Ronald,
Foulkes is proudly displaying more than 20 pairs of world-class bespoke shoes - which (if we're honest) is about 20 more pairs than you have. I don't like the bright suede shoes either, but the man is a Savant in making the brashest items of clothing work for him - I'll reserve judgement until I've seen how he proposes to wear them. Perhaps he has more oxfords but couldn't fit them all into the shot.

Ronald,
The suits are possibly made by Terry Haste, for whose clothes Foulkes has a penchant. The shoes are likely to be by Eric Cook.

Hermes, do you read Japanese? Do you know anything else about the guys on pages 11, 13, 17,19, and page 21 of the Japanese publication? What types of shoes do they have? The bloke on page 23 has horrible looking shoes.
Who is Foulkes?

Yeah, those horsebit loafers strongly remind me of Gucci. Why would anyone want to pay huge amounts of money for bespoke horsebit loafers? Foulkes may have well made shoes, but l think his taste (in shoes) leaves abit to be desired.

Ronald, Foulkes is a writer/journalist. I recall one of his articles which described how he was bitten by the bespoke bug after bumping into Cook whilst out on a walk in Jermyn St. Cook supposedly promised to make him a pair of loafers every bit a comfortable as his Gucci loafers. I'm afraid that I don't have the Japanese publication you are referring to, but have seen similar magazines in the hands of frenzied Japanese shoe nerds on pilgrimage to Northampton.
Marc, as I understand it, Haste was with Huntsman when he linked up with Mc Queen and didn't actually leave the former (at that time). I'm not sure if he's still the MD.

I know many respect Foulkes's boldness in dress, but I find it to be a bit much. While I really don't mind boldness and breaking some rules (in fact, the Midwestern Protestant in me likes it very much!), it seems he's often just trying too damned hard to get attention. If that's not the case, then fine, but it's how it comes off to me.
For instance: the purple suit with blue socks above. In addition, there's the outfit with flame-red tie, hankie, and socks. I definitely prefer outfits that call less attention to themselves.
One might also note how he is wearing a pocket watch in the breast pocket with the double-breasted outfit.
As for his shoes, it seems there is a fair amount of Berluti, the Andy loafers it looks, and possibly Cleverley. I don't know if those are Gucci since to my recollection Gucci hasn't made loafers in those colors nor do they offer MTM or bespoke.
I'm not certain who made the shirts in those photos. I know that he had a penchant for Interno 8 about 2 years ago.
His shirts are Turnbull & Asser, I believe.
He wrote a book about the firm's history.
That boy Foulkes, he's wearing my suits!
And by the way, he's aging pretty well, considering we're almost the same age
^Is that really you Chevere? And if not, who?
"And if not, who?"
I wish I knew, as I'd love to have a drink with him.
