Long gone in London was 'James' of New Row. He opened the shop when he felt like it pretty much & was cash only. Nice bloke.

At least the watch band problem has improved. Basic stripes are produced by Hanaur (according to Harris - of course) and are available at several of the trad shops. I like these fine.

I've been getting ribbon bands in Grand Central for many years. I had no idea these were considered hard to come by - particularly in the internet age.
