At least the watch band problem has improved. Basic stripes are produced by Hanaur (according to Harris - of course) and are available at several of the trad shops. I like these fine.
I've been getting ribbon bands in Grand Central for many years. I had no idea these were considered hard to come by - particularly in the internet age.
Grosgrain on 9th avenue? - that's only a couple of blocks from the Port Authority - yuck!
