The tie is merely representative, so one can't really nit-pick about the size, knot, etc. But the collar looks off to me. A bit slack around the throat, like a BD, which it clearly isn't intended to be.
I dont know a lot about the company but they are selling to a certain type of person. They added French cuffs and a pocket square to a simple silhouette. Why? For sophistication? I wonder if most of their clients even know what these details are? Clothing which may not even be worn by their customers still signal strong positive associations and aspirations? The face and suit are almost irrelevant, rather it's the tie, pocket square and French cuffs that "pop". Are these the details in the minds of the general populace that suggest "connoisseur"?
I find this ad fascinating.
I noticed the matchy tie and pocket square and thought 'cheap livery'. My snap reaction was this person was a wine server.
