Contrary to lies of FNB and Woofboxer, I (and most of the other "Buff Bastards") have been banned from posting on this forum. There are only a few posters left so don't waste your time on here. This forum is dead and nobody cares.

Three piece suits no longer have any function in a world of central heating, including in the work place. That goes for Harris tweed too. The three pieces are back for fashion and will be gone this time next year.

The problem with modernity, is once you've paid the mortgage and the rest of the stuff, the common office worker has no money for a suit, let alone a bespoke one.  And yet, back in the 1950's and early 60's a docker or foreman navvie could afford bespoke or at least a MTM suit every season.

Henry Lesser: The end of an era.............
I have found out today that Henry Lesser and Sons are to be incorporated by Harrisons.

Henry Lesser and Sons have built up a reputation for one of the very best woollen merchants here in Savile Row this just leaves Smiths Woollens as a London based woollen merchant.

It has been a great pleasure working with The Lesser's Brothers David and Henry during my time in the trade, as they are a London base firm offering great service with top quality cloths and just nice honest people to do bussiness with.

I have seen Mark Dunsford from Harrisons this morning and wished him well for the future, I truly believe Lesser's are in safe hands under the Harrison's umbrella. As I have been assured that the same mills will be used and the quality will remain as high as ever, good news for us tailors and clients alike.

How about that piece for poor English expression? If you are going to do a blog it helps to have gone to school to learn to write English properly.

This should be a positive move. Harrisons  respect what Lesser do and have talent at customer service inventory etc.. They will probably work some stability into the ranges re-weave golden bale, bring back defunct qualities and revive some of the better archival stuff.
