I really like those C&Js they are as elegant as a gunboat can get.
What do they say on SF? SIGWORTHY?

Really Nice shoes. Always choose shoe according to comfort. While choosing a shoe we should not keep only design in mind. if your foot doesn't not feel comfort with you shoe then you don't feel comfort.

Setting aside NYC for a moment, I think many shoo brands are becoming regional. Weston only in France, Alden & AE only in the US, Church's only in the UK, etc etc. Not a hard and fast rule, but a general tendency. Some brands of course are expanding their reach. Unfortunate, since sometimes only the lasts from a particular company fit well on one's feet.
