Re: Cultural Reference thread

Well said, Shoey. The thing doesn't end there because the fuckers are trying to tell us that so-called 'Ivy League' style of dress is something new... And now I am banned........ (again).

Re: Cultural Reference thread

God, that top-of-the-page post was a real kick-arse finish to an evening's dining.

NJS - where are you banned - at home by 'er indoors - the handbrake? - from posting on net forums whilst dining or wearing that hat at the table?

Re: Cultural Reference thread

fxh:  you asked about the knit cap/hat...  As far as I know all these terms (knit cap/hat, beenie, ski cap, etc.) are the same thing.  I don't know why we use so many terms to describe such a silly hat.

Re: Cultural Reference thread

Shooey and fxh - I'm just joking about the banning. I thought that I was banned from here but I just forgot my password. Andy once gave me a warning for some mild expletive aimed at one of the members there and I haven't been back since. Chenners 'disabled' me (as he put it at Dnet) and I have far more time than I need for dining these days.

Re: Cultural Reference thread

Thank you Max and I am sure that this is a fair statement of Chenners' reasoning.
