Re: Paris shopping

Personally I think the flea markets are the tourist traps.

Re: Paris shopping

I should have been in Paris drinking for the New Year but my chum over there was unwell so I need to rearrange the trip -

Mr. Horace informs that Scottish Knitwear is available without too much searching, but I'm interested in what other 'Ivy League' items might be available & from where. Any pointers?
I know France's taste for American imports peaked and troughed a long time ago ('67-ish?). Is there any trace of that fashion craze left? Any old shops still stocking a 'J.Simons' style of merchandise?

Thanks -

Re: Paris shopping

LOL!

Chris H. tells a funny story about wearing his Ivy threads in London in the 60's and French exchange students coming up to him all the time.
Mistaking him for un Minet, maybe?
