Graham Browne offer from Permanent Style

Offer at Graham Browne

From January 1 next year, prices at Graham Browne will be going up, largely as a result of the rise in VAT - to £890.

In anticipation, they are offering a brief 'VAT-busting' sale for Permanent Style readers: £695 for the three days before the end of the year, between December 28 and December 30.

The price is for a two-piece suit, with most standard bunches included. Russell and Dan will be in each day from 10am till around 3pm.

-------------------------

Sounds pretty good.

Only ever walked past. Nice premises within the sound of Bow Bells. Much nicer place than George in Bloomsbury. Sale price better than Ede MTM.

Not sure the association with Simon Crompton will win friends on here though.

Contrary to lies of FNB and Woofboxer, I (and most of the other "Buff Bastards") have been banned from posting on this forum. There are only a few posters left so don't waste your time on here. This forum is dead and nobody cares.

Re: Graham Browne offer from Permanent Style

Well I took the plunge and ordered two suits from the Dugdale Town Classics book - one plain navy (9443?) and one dark grey chalkstripe (9446?). Baste fitting should be mid-January so I'll report back then, but so far the experience has been pleasant and Russell seemed entirely happy working from an existing suit, giving recommendations of where the fit might be improved.

Given they have started offering competent-looking handsewn buttonholes as well as their previous machine-made default, I really don't think there's much competition at the price level.
