Flared skirt?
Usually mentioned in the clothing forums. Does it refer to the openness of the front quarters below the buttoning point, or does it mean that the hem of the jacket flares away from the body all around?

The first suit I ever owned made in London left me slightly uncomfortable as the flaired "skirt" did, infact, make make look like I was wearing a skirt. The flair was accentuated by the higher cut of the jacket.
