A classic effort by Mr. Gilchrist (AAAC) to inform others of his experience with an unscrupulous merchant, after having sung the praises of said merchant's wares:

"Mr. Hill's behavior is of course inexcusable, beyond the pale, and, by all appearances, criminal.
"However, perhaps you can educate us as to the agreement you had with him in terms of your business relationship? I presume he offered you a substantial discount from his 'list' price? You no doubt wanted him to advertise on your site?
"While I appreciate your airing of Mr. Hill's failure to deliver promised (and paid for) goods, I think you may also be at fault for your seeming lack of transparency in dealing with and promoting vendors."
Marvellous - made my year!
Maybe it's Karma.
+ why didn't he get Scott Hill's proper business address?? Shillchrist seems incompetant on so many levels, he comes across as the fool he really is. l also have a feeling Shillchist will avoid answering Shoefan's questions, he doesn't like hard questions or confrontation.
This is getting crazy now:

The last entry made me chuckle

I wonder who writes Andy's laudatory reviews? When he initailly starting shilling for the 'legendary' Scott Hill this was competent and even crisp advertising copy. When you read his own contributions it's clear that it's a different hand at work. My guess is that the purveyor of goods simply hands him some copy to post.

I saw an entry about a bespoke jumper (or sweater as those quaint Americans say) from Peter Wolf.
Oh how the great have fallen.
Still J Geils still sound good on vinyl.
Marc Grayson, way back, put it best... "Ask Ernie Lomax About Clothes."

Many good questions and comments directed at Andy thoughout the thread also. His credibility is definately under fire. lt would be good if Andy learnt from this and become a better man because of it. So far he is avoiding answering any questions and consequently appears very suspect of being up to no good.
I can't help but think that Andy is a fictional character created by focus groups, like Tipsy McStagger of Tipsy McStagger's Good Time Drinking and Eating Emporium, but then some in these hallowed pages have met Andy in the flesh and I can't doubt them. Maybe Krusty the Klown is a better parallel: 'ole Krusty would endorse any product, no matter how oblique to his primary business or low grade in quality.
