Fascism rears its ugly head over at Loonyville.

Do you know anything about Stalin's tailor?
Quite a natural shoulder there...
Come on, at least give the guy some credit for risking his own life, for the sake of justice!
"... the moderators of AskAndy do not lose their rights as members just because they agree to spend countless hours trying to keep the board decent. What they do lose is the right to moderate a thread in which they take a strong position. For this reason, I immediately informed other moderation staff that I had done so and was thus open to being chastised, infracted, or suspended".
Tough forum!
Moderators moderating moderators who need moderating by moderators for moderating.
(...I'm tired now...)
Upon reading the rule, I noticed that links to blogs are not allowed that do not refer to the thread topic. Is there an exception for moderators?
Would seem to illustrate the importance of making the right career choices.
For exmple, if one posesses the traits of a sociopathic bully that equips him to be a high security prison guard, it is a shame to see those talents wasted on a lesser calling.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes, eh?
Of course, while discussion of numerous subjects and former posters is strictly prohibited, a little casual racism is A-OK:

(See post #25 and following. Charming stuff.)

It's ironic that in spite of the title of this thread, I sort of feel like indulging in a little editing myself. I do believe in free speech and of course as a non commercial site it is stronger here by far than on the business ones but that doesn't mean that crazies understand that. Let's not stir them.
As Marc points out, this is a good place for people who are tired of being bullied, spied on, provoked or smeared by a bunch of people who feign innocence and maturity. That being said, if people on other forums want to be abused, I can't do anything about that. For those who want to put some of this energy into discussing clothes let's do that.
More should follow Will's example and post thoughts on clothing. I do understand that a few people are bent on continuing to poison the atmosphere but it never worked on me because I have strength of heart and convictions. That will always trump the dirty tricksters in the long run.
To us it is a hobby, you have a place to post in peace and you can discuss style and clothes. I have always preferred quality and the members here are generally in agreement with that philosophy. If you keep that up, the people who really want to learn something good from you guys will come around.
