Film Noir short : Sockman
Hi there I am a student film maker from South Wales, UK. I have recently created a short film called Sockman, which can be seen here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7d0jKjbIf9k
Sockman is a 3 part serial following Detective Harry Steele as he hunts down the serial killer known as Sockman.
Sockman has no professional or financial backing but does aim to achieve the highest possible quality.
I am currently writing part 2 and would love to know what you think.

As your next project, Liam, you should consider having a serial killer called Shoeman who does his victims in by kicking them to death with gunboat brogues. The victims are all iGents who are members of online clothing forums called Ask Andy About Clothes and Style Forum.
Shoeman started his killing spree as an act of revenge after being diagnosed as a shoe fetishist by a psychiatrist called Holdfast. You could keep the same hero, Harry Steele, as the deadly Shoeman's pursuer, or you might consider creating a character called Jovan who as his name suggests likes to use this particular fragrance. Jovan does not have a driving licence but he is learning to ride a scooter and gets to the scene of the crime on that. Unfortunately he is always too late as Shoeman makes a retreat the moment he gets a whiff of Jovan's scent. Jovan's boss is Inspector Upper Crust who has a liking for photographing himself in front of a bookcase of unread art books after donning each day's attire. Jovan doesn't know it yet, but Inspector Upper Crust wants to adopt Jovan as his nephew.

Liam - I'm in a rush now but I think you need a subplot whereby the anarcho-nihilist-magic realists of a certain Devil's Island haphazardly appear in scenes and fail to differentiate between the Goodies & the Baddies and thus get shot at by both sides, just after saving the dame.
I'll see if I can write a story board next week.

Although unproven but clearly implicated in the killing of Cardinal Mantoni is the curio vendor Foo Man Chewie--a diabolical former chemist who has been unable to pass the pharmcy exam and turns to a life of crime and selling really poor fitting eBay items. FooManChewer escapes to Naples and joins the rubensnachio circus--where he earns money as a side show event and studies Bentivegna shoemaking on the side.
