Lift tickets on your jacket

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQr0R1riRTo

What do you guys think of people that leave their ski lift tickets on their jackets?

I've always hated it.  Just more status anxiety.

Their minds are not on their skiing, that's for sure.

Uh, I haven't been on a ski-hill for years, but I used to just stick the new tag over top the old one and the one frame which I left on the jacket permanently. Just laziness, really.

Re: Lift tickets on your jacket

''Upscale' resorts in Europe have electronic passes that do not need to be displayed on your jacket. They can be read from inside your pocket. Much easier that way and saves lost lift passes. I think you can also get lift passes put onto some types of wristwatch

The wire frame with a bit of paper was only one of a number of alternatives. There was also the cardboard ticket. Did you keep that on the elastic that the ticket office gave you? Or transfer it to one of those extendable elastic lanyards to save elastic twisting annoyances? Or put it in a clear plastic cover and wear it on your arm?

I suppose it is a bit like those horse racing types who have all their cardboard member's badges attached to the binoculars case.

Re: Lift tickets on your jacket

These people who leave the tickets on their jacket think that they look cool. It's like telling the others that they have been to this place and that when nobody actually cares. Well, I don't do it and if others like to leave the tickets on then I just try to ignore them.
