Just as an update. I recently showed the Vass shoes website to my colleagues, and they laughed.
Although two or three shoes were considered stylish the question arose if they are $500 or so in Hungary, why are they $1500 here?

Apparently you can avoid the $1400 retail price from Bergdorf Goodman by ordering from this German site. The shoes are under $600 including postage and shoe trees and they will ship to other countries.
Its around 2 months for an order and you must put down a 50% deposit.
