Wow, this is the treatment we get after all the nice things Kingstonian said about Crusty? Bilious? There's no justice in this world.

Andyland's weirdest non-trad denizens discuss the foremost fashion question in the mind of the modern citizen of the internet: wing or regular collar for Oxford formal academic dress? Check TheEdwardian's posts for a highly representative example of what happens to British people when they begin to believe that they are just as adorable as the rest of the world thinks they are. I will pose the same question that I often pose when this kind of thing comes up on Andyland: why would TheEdwardian ask an internet community of shut-ins and weirdos a question on appropriate attire for Oxford? Why not ask someone with a non-imaginary connection to Oxford?

"But there are tailors that will, in fact, be around until the end of the world, the extinction of the human race or anything of that magnitude. Thirty percent of such tailors are in England, 30% in Italy, 30% in Japan and 10% in the whole entire world outside of England, Italy and Japan. Some examples of such tailors are Augusto Caraceni Milano, Domenico Caraceni Roma, Ferdinando Carceni Milano, Rubinacci Milano and Rubinacci Napoli (to name a few of much too many to count)."
Nurse!!!
Ah sweet mystery of life at last I've found you - so if I become a tailor I will live until the apocalypse?
regarding Styleforum:
does anyone know what happened with their images? anyone who posted with photobucket has their pics vanished from SF, which is frustrating since whatever else their faults they do post good pics

Neil is still firing on all 6 cylinders, k.d.lang still sounds great, Ron Sexsmith is doing well, Lenny Cohen is kickin up a storm, Rick Danko, Fred J. Eaglesmith, Diana Krall, Daniel Lanois, Loreena McKennitt, Wainwright family, Jesse Winchester - all well worth the price.
You can keep Bryan Adams.
