It will be interesting to see if Roetzel turns his attention to Italian tailoring, bloggers and internet fora. There have been many changes, mainly bad, on Savile Row and Jermyn Street in recent years that merit comment. A detailed chapter on Austro-Hungarian shoemakers would be welcome.
The book is listed on Amazon, etc. I think I shall definitely queue up for a copy. I need to get Boyer's latest book, too.
I don't believe Roetzel's book ever had photos of himself, unless they were ones with his head cropped.
I would recommend Roetzel's book to a young man starting out, without any significant reservations. Mantoni's book is only for the "fora" regulars.
Perfect proportions. Bonnet + boot = length of passenger compartment.
