Back again.
I have a thrifted Navy Pinstripe suit jacket that I intend to wear as a Blazer this summer if I change the buttons -
So:
Gold?
Brass?
Horn?
Mother of Pearl?
Which would look the most like Old Money?
My intention is to pair it with Dockers and the Left/Left pair of Aldens I picked up on Ebay.
Many thanks.
WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO JUDGE ME I COULD BUY AND SELL YOU ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.
I am also looking for a source for discounted Charvet ties. PM?
GO TO HELL YOU BASTARDS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CLOTHES.
Please check out my 'for sale' items in the 'for sale' thread.
This is hilarious! Sadly, it could be so many different people, though.

GET YOUR EYES OFF MY THREAD.
It's my understanding that a Gentleman will always 'hold it in' during church services.
But when those Catholics start to swing the incense about how can you tell who's abiding by this rule?
I can't say that eating too much Italian on a Saturday night leads them to this sorry state of affairs.
But eating too much Italian on a Saturday night obviously leads them to this sorry state of affairs.
Don't tell me that their incense came before their eating habits.
Have you ever visited the urinal at the same time as a Jewish gentleman and stood there looking slyly at his penis?
If so, I'd advise you not to admit to it online.
Back again,
ALTHOUGH MY MOOD SWINGS ARE STILL BOTHERING ME
Gentlemen, a question: Whilst undergoing the partaking of the thrice daily ritual of the tying of the tie (cravat) how low do you go?
Should tip of the ideally tied tie graze the navel or terminate at the belt buckle?
Going any lower just makes it look like you're wearing a big arrow pointing at your fly.
OH GO TO HELL
Many thanks -
Shoudl end precisely at the mid point between the top of the buckle and the bottom of the buckle.
Or you could tuck it in all your shirt about halfway up and pretend its an old military habit you can't shake.
Ben Silver sold them mail order since '64. Wake up, Tony !
Gentlemen:
I have been a member here, since 2001, and I must now, with reluctance, and sadness, and many more unnecessary commas, announce my impending, and immediate, exit from this forum. I have, due to recent posts, decided that my presence here, though it has given me, and others, great pleasure, not to mention inspiration, is best ended for the present, and foreseeable future.
I have posted below, for those of you who may wish to keep in contact, my personal email address:
