They have a nice, elegant look I think. The fact that they're blue shows that you've got balls. I approve!
Nots: some may not approved of the slightly squared toe. I, however, have no problem with it.
They are very nice. I have been looking at the various double monks to see what I like viz another pair. The discussion seems to revolve around toecap or no toecap. The general opinion so far on the forums is no toecap.
The theory is that the style is a busy one that needs simplification. Therefore, the eye should glide without interruption from the monk straps down the vamp to the tip - no toecap to interrupt that vista. But ironically a lot of famous double monks have toecaps (C&J Lowndes) and the best one at C&J without toecap was deleted from their lineup.
I probably sound like an SF shoe pron tragic but there you have it.
Here is the USA Shipton and Heanage double monk. It is called a Lowndes and is made in the UK but I don't know by whom. Similar to yours or the more expensive C&J and only USD395 not EUROS.

Very nice design, but....
l don't like the sole. No decoration and no real beef. These look cheap and shitty. Are they really goodyear? They might call them "handmade", but they certainly don't look like it.

No toecap over here, the strap is the feature, its enough detail. I think the double Monk is OTT. I don't mind the colour on these and the soles alright with me, my feet are big enough without putting them on top of chunky soles. I'd look like Ronald McDonald.
