And there dear reader did Rasselass determine that Imlac was indeed correct and that igenteeism alone would ever satisfy the human soul.
I read the other thread. It was a brutal beat down by a very reluctant Silkie. His victim tried for the killing blow in several edited posts--no joke or retort is as sharp and devastating as the one that has been edited ten times--and Silkie would sigh, and then mop the floor with him yet again. Now the sad and dreary street fight has been moved to our leafy precincts.
Go away please.
In my score books Gross Grains Silk has won.

Enough Marc - give it a rest. It's old and people are tired. Look up and read.
This thread is turning surreal and is like something that needs to finish pronto.
I think I may have a parallel to some of the idiocy we get on the clothing fora.
Until recently I frequented some aviation forums. One in particular attracted individuals who variously claimed to fly 747’s, military fast jets etc and who were quick to offer opinions and supposed statements of fact on accidents, best practice etc. But after a while it would became apparent to those of us who actually were licensed pilots (in my case only for itty bitty aeroplanes) that the nearest they had come to flying or operating an aircraft was Microsoft flight sim – and they must have crashed that more times than Windows 95 beta ever managed.
The worrying thing was that some novice pilots listened to them as did a lot of the interested “general public” and the mightily British press who used the forum for easy copy after every aviation incident.
Here we have people who know f all about style, tailoring etc blathering on about it as if they are world experts. Fortunately the poor deluded souls who listen to them will only get hit in the wallet and perhaps be made to look a little silly.
I think this proclivity would make a good study for someone’s PhD in behavioural physiology. Or perhaps Uncle Russ is already doing it

On the current rumpus I make it set and match point to GG Silk, 6/0, 6/0 5/0.
Co-incidentally one of the more entertaining and knowledgeable posters on the aviation forums was a QC until that is they made him a judge and he felt it inappropriate to post on many topics. Silky may know him by the initials TO – I was pleased to see a couple of scrotes using a laser against an aircraft come up before him a while ago and getting sent down for it, the listing clerk or someone deserves a pat on the back.

Regarding all the whiners, I only know this:
Put all the clothing-related contributions of all the whiners here together. They don't reach a fraction of Marc's clothing-related contributions.
There's more than enough of me for ALL of you to rub me the wrong way.
