Re: Other sites make me angry..,

All the amusing stuff you folks do for fun I find rather discusting

ly WONDERFUL and am only ashamed that my wife is limiting my days off to actual computer time that is beneficial to the business and not allowing me any forum fun outside this one.

My problem was when I used to have such merriment was that they was so dumb they would have never caught on had I not had to make it all too obvious.

Even with employment firms listed like Hook, Lyon and Sinker - investment counselors and such they was oblivious until I had to push the panic buttons on them and then I would only be banned if I mentioned the GH dreaded name or other wise they approved seemingly of board numbers as having relevant content was either unnecessary or not desired.

Oh what fun it was to ride a slinding sleigh that night.

Re: Other sites make me angry..,

At some point, an individual has to look at what's going on another forum and say: "Thank God that isn't me," and thank who ever raised you or instilled in you concepts such as "merit," "honor," "dignaty" and "humility." Then, walk away and ignore them. They're proving to themselves to be the idiots the rest of us believed they were.

The only example they're making now is something I hope I never was and something I hope my son's never become.

By the way, Penquins ROCK!

Read from post #43 and on. Is it just me, or does this guy try to make people say things he thinks are important or try to discredit them? Rudeness is a little man's imitation of power.

Re: Other sites make me angry..,

It not good to spend a lot of time on the negative. However post #50 is a symptom of what happens when a person like that goes around unchecked. (Germany was a fairly civil place until about 1933.)

Not only are bullying posts like this offensive to most people, but if you don't engage him in his rants, he will pursue you relentlessly in pm untill you finally block off pm entries.

It used to be an enriching experience to exchange posts over there ultil this kind of behavior became the coin of the relm.

Unless AA is just a sock puppet, it's hard to understand how he lets this go on, as long as his name is on the store.

Re: Other sites make me angry..,

By now, Blackadder is probably getting flooded with PMs wanting to carry the issue out to the third ring of Saturn.

You put a badge on a seriously deranged person, and you don't get a police officer, you get a nut with a badge and a gun.
Not a good combination.

As you brought up the subject of "hate", here's what I "hate". I hate it when new members - especially those who arrive with an attitude - do not bother to do their research before asking questions which have been answered hundreds of times. I pointed this out to you earlier in this thread. Discussions of "handmade" shirts have been transpiring on Andy's for years. Had you read through them, your questions might have been completely answered. If not completely, you would have at least gained the knowledge to ask more intelligient questions.

Take this as the last kernel of wisdom you will receive from me until you offer an apology to your fellow members: There is a sewing machine which imitates hand-sewing. More than 90% of what you will buy which is said to be "hand" sewn will have been made with that machine. Caveat emptor.

1.No, what you hate is someone who's not willing to endure the BS and unnecessary comments, and certainly someone who STATES how unnecessary they actually are, God forbid. I don't do that to others, so I certainly won't deal with it.
2.I asked a very simple set of questions which could have been answered in record time, period. If you didn't want to answer the damned questions, then you shouldn't have responded in the first place, and left the thread empty.
3.I'd done quite a bit of "research" on this topic before I knew this site existed, but as methods, artisans and companies change, blah, blah, blah.
4.Keep your "kernels". I'm sure I can find more and better without the obnoxious drivel, not to mention all of the pathetic use of other, famous/infamous, peoples' quotes in order to make themselves look.....like anyone other than themselves. Perhaps an apology should be made the originators of said phrases.
5.I'll never understand why some people enjoy complicating very simple matters just to give themselves the appearance of importance.
6.Most of the fellow members, (iammatt, SilkCity, jcusey, amongst others) have done NOTHING BUT show me what true gentlemen are:Kind, interesting, and most of all, willing to impart knowledge to any and all who ask, WITHOUT DERISION!!! My quarrel is/was never with you, and I sincerely thank you for all of your help during my time here. NOT ONCE did you post any comments which were anything but informative. I've learned much from you, gentlemen, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. The more time I spend here, the more rare you seem...to me, anyway.
7.In closing, Mr. Kabbazz, I must say, that from your first, private, statement to me to this one, you've been nothing but rude, condescending and obnoxious. Frankly, if you're an example of what it means to be a "gentleman", then the world is in "heap, big trouble", for YOUR behaviour and ATTITUDE reinforce every negative stereotype regarding men who are interested in the topics of style, fashion and the like.
Take it easy.
