You have not dealt with my other points at all. I decline to accept that, in these days of modern technology, a jerk (and he probably is a jerk) like this defendant, could have 'gotten' twenty five feet away from the hotel building, on the say-so of an assaulted hotel employee, without being told to stand still - or be shot in the back of the head by NY 'law enforcement' officers, on the "Geronimo!, Geronimo, Geronimo!!" 'principle.

I am not much of a conspiracy buff, but I do have to wonder about the fact that the maid in question was from Guinea, a Francophone country. Never had a maid from Guinea or any West African country in any hotel I've ever stayed in, at least that I can recall. It does leave me to speculate that this just might be a set-up engineered by Strauss-Kahn's political enemies. We've had a couple of very notorious cases of black women falsely alleging rape against white men like the Tawana Brawley case some years back and the more recent case of the Duke lacrosse team.

Sofitel is a French company. It might make sense for them to hire in priority French speaking people.
