Re: recent pic of Mr. Flusser

I wouldn't be all that picky about the brand of gin in a Negroni as the subtle cucumber in the Hendrick's or the softness of Plymouth is going to be lost. Berry's No 3 gin is a current trend with some top London barmen for some cocktails:http://www.bbr.com/shopping/berrys-london-gin . The only place where I should be specific about a good gin would be in a pink gin: then it has to be Plymouth Naval Strength (overproof at 114') and standing at a massive 57% abv: once, when I was living alone in Blackheath Village and feeling rather depressed, I suddenly took off to Cornwall and then I brought a bottle of this back from the source (wrong side of the border but still) and sat in my dining room overlooking the village, listening to some music and drinking it pink (presumably to improve my mood) and I had no more than I would normally have - maybe quite a bit though - and I then discovered that I simply could not get up, let alone make a fist.

Gin's an amazing substance, drink it in tropical climes with a tonic and its a wonderful effervescent qualities will sparkle like the fire flies at sunset. Guzzle it in temperate climes, or in winter and a rabid and insatiable morbidness will descend and quite possible make you cry.

Contrary to lies of FNB and Woofboxer, I (and most of the other "Buff Bastards") have been banned from posting on this forum. There are only a few posters left so don't waste your time on here. This forum is dead and nobody cares.
