As you are probably all aware, Charles Bradley is on Daptone. The first Daptone singer who came to my attention a few years ago is Sharon Jones who has several excellent albums on the label. Here she is doing Give it Back live.

She#s amazing live, too!
I've heard the Neil Sugarman Three previously on The Purple Weekend in 1999 and they were awesome, but I was blown away when I heard Sharon Jones on a birthday party two or three years later...

Great tunes Sammy.
Saw Sharon Jones live last year-fantastic. Another R&B artist doing it at the minute is Gizzelle.

The lillac label is a re-issue for Baby Please...(some have black on the wax), brought out about 18 months after the first issue due to demand. 1st issue label is red. She also sounds great live, from what I've heard on YT.
All her other singles are one release with lillac labels.
