When we speak of the Neopolitan look, do we include Rome?
That's beautiful Ken. It brings a tear to my eye. Who made that coat for you?

A nice shoulder, there, quite.
As for RTW makers adopting traditional detailings, I have seen the mall shops offering jackets with "pick-stiching" and other sartorial niceties. Malls are exactly oppressive for that very reason; cheap goods and more or less tacky people.
Shoes for the Neapolitan style?

They also like Edward Green and the Berlutis:

Bonora also makes a nice, classic Italian shoe. They are a bit "Britishy" which should dull any concern about support for the toots. I believe that Bizzocchi has them in New York. They used to get wider distribution, but I think they lost their representation a few years ago. Apparently they are now back.
I have owned Barrett shoes in the past. They fit nicely but I found that the soles wore out very quickly which was a bit disappointing.
I have always liked the Peluso shoes at Bergdorf. They seem to hug a good middle ground between pimpy Italian shoes and stodgy English shoes. They are priced nicely as well. I don't go for the looks of most Santoni shoes. They would represent the pimp side for me.
Since we're discussing shoes. Can any forum members chime in about Domencio Vacca's shoes. Not the clunky designs, but the more elegant offerings?
I'm seeking opinions about style and quality.
Thanks

I simply wanted to bump this to keep the interest going.
I think Ken's jacket looks good, but I could never wear this shoulder, type.
It seems a little to casual for my wardrobe. Just personal!!!
